In these sectors, ultrasonics play a critical role in detecting subsurface flaws and ensuring structural integrity
The course includes 20 hours of hands-on training, which allows students to practice equipment calibration, straight beam inspections using Various equipment, and providing introduction to angle beam inspections. The training is led by an experienced instructor who demonstrates the proper techniques for calibration and testing.
In addition to hands-on instruction, the course includes 40 total hours of classroom training and a Classroom Certificate, with successful completion assessed through an exam that demonstrates knowledge of the topics covered. All materials and topics meet the requirements in accordance with SNT-TC-1A, CP189, NAS410, and outline of CP105, ensuring that students are trained to the highest industry standards.
By the end of this course, students will have the skills and knowledge necessary to perform ultrasonic inspections and document results according to industry standards.
