In this course, we cover:

• •Advanced Ultrasonic Testing Principles: Students will delve deeper into the principles of ultrasonic testing, including wave propagation, interaction with materials, and signal analysis. They will understand the physics behind ultrasonic waves and how they are used for flaw detection and material characterization.
• •Equipment Operation and Calibration: Students will gain proficiency in operating complex ultrasonic testing equipment. They will learn how to set up equipment, adjust parameters, and calibrate probes to ensure accurate and reliable inspections. This includes sensitivity calibration, time-of-flight calibration, and beam angle calibration
• •Code and Standards Compliance: Students will learn about relevant codes, standards, and regulations governing ultrasonic testing in their industry. This includes understanding the requirements of organizations such as ASME, ASTM, API, and AWS, and ensuring inspections comply with these standards.

Upon completing this course, students will be able to:

Course includes 15 hr hands-on training. These hours incorporate Instructor demonstration of plotting techniques, explanation of signals from indications, etc. 40 Total Hours of classroom training and a Classroom Certificate are accredited to students after successful completion by demonstration of knowledge by exam. All topics and materials meet the requirements in accordance with SNT-TC-1A, CP189, NAS410, and outline of CP105.
